Mission Statement

Ownership:

             Saint Vincent College Bookstore is institutionally owned by Saint Vincent College, Latrobe, Pennsylvania, which is operated by the Roman Catholic Benedictine Monks (O.S.B.) of Saint Vincent Archabbey.

 College Mission Statement:

Saint Vincent College is an educational community rooted in the tradition of the Catholic faith, the heritage of Benedictine monasticism, and the love of values inherent in the liberal approach to life and learning. Its mission is to provide quality undergraduate and graduate education for men and women to enable them to integrate their professional aims with the broader purposes of human life. The programs, activities, and encounters that make up student life at Saint Vincent College encourage the intellectual gifts, professional aptitudes and personal aspirations of students to mature harmoniously.

Bookstore Mission & Goal: 

It is the purpose of Saint Vincent College Bookstore to uphold and support the mission of Saint Vincent College in the Benedictine Tradition.  It is the goal of the Bookstore Staff to:

·       To provide our students with the textbooks and supplies they need for their classes

·       To be courteous and helpful to all customers at all times

·       To offer useful items to the customers

·       To pay close attention to the customers’ needs and assist them individually as needed

·       To welcome and recognize Jesus Christ in each person who passes through our doors.
